$20 entry
How it works:
Using the form provided, you must choose 2 teams
of Forwards, Defence & Goalies (1 from each Conf.),
and compete head-to-head, in a 70-game regular
season. (East vs East and West vs West...2 games
simultaneously! see Schedule for details)
Points accumulated by your team will constitute 1st
period, Day 2 = 2nd period, Day 3 = 3rd period. Total
pts earned over the 3 days/periods will be your
team's final score for that game! Team with most pts
earned will get a "win" for that game, worth 2 pts in
the standings. Losing team gets 0 pts, and a tie is
worth 1 pt each.
Playoffs will use same format, but your East team
and West team will be combined...and no ties
allowed!
RND 1 = 2 out of 3, RND 2 & 3 = 3 out of 5, FINAL = 4
out 0f 7. Top 8 teams in each division will qualify for
playoffs, which begin Feb. 2.
Scoring:
Forwards & Defencemen:
1 pt for every goal and/or assist
Goalies:
1 pt per win, 2 pts per shutout, 3 pts per goal/assist
Prizes:
8 teams that win Round 1 of playoffs - $10 each ($80)
4 teams that win Round 2 of playoffs - $20 each ($80)
Winner of Finals - $210
Loser of Finals - $100
(based on 24 entrants)
